These air-conditioned residence halls house primarily first-year students. A popular floor plan, suite-style halls consist of two rooms connected by a bath that is generally shared by four residents. The majority of suite-style halls have large kitchens on several floors that are equipped with a stove, refrigerator, microwave, and sink. All rooms provide students with computer networking to the University mainframe and access to the Internet without the use of a modem. These residence halls also have laundry rooms with washers and dryers and other amenities such as game rooms, TV lounges, and ice and vending machines.
