West (Green) Quad is the University of South Carolina’s newest residence hall complex. It is a 500-bed Living and Learning complex. Located adjacent from the Blatt P.E. Center, West (Green) Quad offers the best of community living while maintaining individual privacy. West (Green) Quad, home to the Environmental Awareness Community, is designed to be a sustainable living environment. Defined in simple terms, sustainability is the idea of meeting present needs without compromising the needs of future generations. Residents of West (Green) Quad, try to minimize the impact on the Earth in comparison to that of others.
