Sustainability Awards

University Housing has committed to being a leader in environmental stewardship for the University of South Carolina and the State. The efforts of the staff and department have been recognized by a variety of state, regional, and national associations. This recognition has in itself served as a point of distinction for the University and more importantly, to promote environmental stewardship more widely as a foundational operation and education principle. This leadership initiative has served as a catalyst for other sustainable initiatives at the University of South Carolina and at literally hundreds of other campuses around the country.
