Student Success Center: Peer Callers
The Student Success Call Center is a new initiative providing outreach to various student populations. Student callers also handle incoming calls regarding academic success. The student callers are responsible for directing people to the appropriate academic resources, making appointments with the Student Success Center services, and assessing the call data that they collect.
Currently on an as-needed basis. Typically recruitment will be at the end of the Spring semester for the upcoming Fall semester.
USC undergraduate student maintaining at least a 2.75 USC GPA. Prior phone experience is helpful, but not required.
Student callers are required to attend all training sessions at the beginning of each semester. Callers must also attend bi-weekly staff meetings.
