Impact Weekly Trip Leaders

Description:

Impact Weekly Service Projects give students the opportunity to fit service into their weekly schedules by providing transportation to and from various service sites throughout the week. Impact Leaders are responsible for leading one of the weekly trips to the same agency each week.

Recruitment date:

Applications to serve as Impact Leaders are available towards end of every Spring semester, in order to be selected to serve for the following year.

Qualifications:

Must be a full-time student enrolled at the University of South Carolina – Columbia
Maintain a 2.50 cumulative GPA and be in good academic standing with their respective college

Class requirement:

None

Training:

Impact Leaders are trained at the beginning of every Fall semester, before Impact Weekly Trips start.

Meeting time:

Impact Leaders are required to attend one meeting a month to talk about various topics surrounding service and social justice.

Time Commitment:

Impact Leaders commit to 3 hours of service a week, during both Fall and Spring semesters.
