Fraternity & Sorority Life: Pan-Hellenic Recruitment Counselors
(Pi Chis and Rho Alphas)

Description:

Recruitment Counselors model the way for potential new members (PNMs). They provide PNMs sound advice and counsel as the PNM searches for an organization that meets her needs and matches her values. A Recruitment Counselor's responsibilities are to each of your PNMs, to the Recruitment Team and the Panhellenic Community here at the University of South Carolina.

Recruitment:

Pi Chis are selected through an application and interview process. Applications are available mid-September and due early-October. Interviews are held mid-October with Pi Chi selections announced prior to Fall Break.

Qualifications:

Must be a current sophomore or junior who has participated in Formal Recruitment with their affiliated chapter.

Class Requirements:

Rising junior or senior

Training:

Pi Chis participate in weekly 2-hour training sessions in the Spring semester. Training retreats are also incorporated into the Pi Chi's term, during the Spring and/or Summer.

Meetings:

Sundays during Spring Semester

Time Commitment:

Pi Chis must be present for all mandatory trainings, in addition to all Formal Recruitment related activities.
