EcoReps

Description:
The EcoReps at the University of South Carolina is a peer leadership program educating and engaging students in sustainable living. The EcoReps work in the residence halls to make connections between individual behaviors and environmental stewardship through fun, interactive programs and campus-wide campaigns.

Qualifications:
University students living on campus with an interest in sustainability and environmental issues.

Class requirement:
None

Training:
1 day mandatory retreat, tentatively scheduled for Sunday, September 7.

Meeting time:
Mandatory weekly meetings on Monday at 8pm in the Green Quad Learning Center lounge (room 101).

Time commitment:
1 hour-long, weekly mandatory meeting. Expect an additional 2-3 hours weekly of event planning and hosting. We also host a 2 day regional EcoReps conference in the spring semester that you will be expected to attend.
