Emerging Leaders Mentor

Description:
Emerging Leader Mentors (ELMs) are students who have been at USC for more than 4 semesters who provide mentoring for students in the Emerging Leaders Program

Recruitment:
Beginning of the fall 2012 semester and end of spring 2013 semester

Qualifications:
Commitment to supporting student involvement and building leadership competencies

Class Requirements:
Students must have completed at least 4 semesters as a USC student.

Training:
Students will attend a training workshop to discuss the program and expectations for the semester and meet other Emerging Leader Mentors.

Meetings:
Emerging Leader Mentors will be asked to assist in some ELP sessions from mid-September to mid-November. They will also be asked to be available for 1:1 mentoring with emerging leaders upon request.

Time Commitment:
Approximately 90 minutes per week for 8-10 weeks
