Capstone Ambassadors

Description:
Rising sophomore to senior Capstone Scholars who are enthusiastic about the program and want to give back to the incoming first-year Scholars through multiple mentoring opportunities. Ambassadors are paired by major and plan two academic enrichment events per month for their assigned students.
Recruitment:
January-Early March 2015
Qualifications:
In order to be considered for a group interview, applicants must: have a GPA of 3.0 or higher, be up-to-date or exceeding Capstone expectations, submit a completed application.

Class Qualifications:
Rising Sophomores – Rising Seniors

Class Requirements:
None
Training:
Half Day Training at the end of April; one hour-long meeting per month throughout fall semester.
Meetings:
Once a month on Mondays
Time Commitment:
5-10 hours per month working with ambassador partner to plan academic enrichment events for your ambassador group. As well as summer expectations to reach out to incoming students via email and Facebook groups.
