Learn More About Sherrigan Feaster
Sherrigan Feaster has served the students of the University of South Carolina and University Housing for over six years. During this time, she has served as a Resident Advisor, Residence Life Coordinator and most recently Assistant Director for Residence Life.
Currently serving as an Assistant Director for Residence Life, Ms. Feaster is responsible for the leadership and supervision of area professional staff, graduate staff, budgets, facilities management and area offices, along with the alignment of all programs and services for the Central Campus area of University Housing. As the Assistant Director for Central Campus, she serves 1,800 students in six primarily first year residence halls.
Ms. Feaster has instructed freshman seminar courses for two years and has taught an Educational Leadership course to first year resident mentors for three years.
Professionally, Ms. Feaster has dedicated her time to working with first generation college students and finding successful strategies geared toward the development of these students. In addition, she currently serves as an "I. AM" mentor for African American students at the University of South Carolina, as well as an advisor for Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated.
Ms. Feaster has a Bachelor's Degree in Criminal Justice from the University of South Carolina. She earned a Master's Degree in College Counseling and Student Development from Radford University.
