A national organization supporting the residential experience, Association of College and University Housing Officers-International (ACUHO-I), recently facilitated its first-ever benchmarking national survey to track trends across its membership institutions, including areas related to programming, technology, strategic planning, facilities, finances and emergency preparedness. Dr. Amber Fallucca, Director of Assessment for University Housing, was selected as a member of the five-person team to review, provide analysis and interpret data from this inaugural bench-marking survey. The executive summary will be finalized and shared to the membership in late 2012.
Amber joined University Housing in July 2010. Prior to moving to Columbia, Amber was the Director of Academic Services for the Department of Athletics at the College of Charleston. She received her B.S. in psychology from the College of Charleston, M.S. in exercise and sports psychology from the University of Florida and Ph.D. in higher education administration from the University of South Carolina. Amber is excited to support the department through assessment initiatives.

Amber enjoys spending time with her husband, Glenn, as well as family and friends. She spends her free time traveling, hiking and attending community events in the Columbia area
