The suspects are described as being between the ages of 19 and 25. One is clean shaven with a short hair cut. Another is described as clean-shaven with shoulder-length dreads and diamond earrings in both ears. The third is described as clean shaven, bald and muscular with diamond earrings in both ears.

Vehicle Management and Parking Services operates the Evening Shuttle consisting of two seven-passenger vans running from 5:30 p.m. to 12:30 a.m. when classes are in session. Stops are at the Coliseum, Music, Russell House, Nursing, BA/Capstone, Maxcy, Byrnes Center, CLS, Swearingen, the Roost, Bates, the PE Center/South & East Quad area, and the Greek Village. A white strobe light and a color scheme related to the Carolina Shuttle System will identify the Evening Shuttle. Students, faculty and staff can wait inside residence halls or academic college lobbies and see the shuttle from a secure area. APO Escort service is sponsored by the Iota Mu Chapter of Alpha Phi Omega National Service Fraternity. As a service to the University community, APO provides escort transportation anywhere on campus. APO helps make night travel safer by operating a van that picks up and drops off people during the late night hours.       Are you interested in environmental sustainability? Do you like planning events and getting involved on campus? If you answered yes, consider signing up to be your residence hall’s Eco Rep! As an Eco Rep you will be responsible for educating your fellow students about environmental issues and how to live more sustainably. You will have the opportunity to plan events for your residence hall and for the campus as a whole and participate in exciting training opportunities like attending the Southeast Student Renewable Energy Conference.

      We will be having an information and training meeting on Wednesday, September 8 at 7:30pm in room 103 at the Green (West) Quad Learning Center (Building D). The Green Quad Learning Center is a one-story building in the middle of the Green (West) Quad. The Quad is located south of Wheat Street, between Main and Sumter. There is a walkway through the middle of the Quad, running between Main & Sumter, and the entrance to the Learning Center is on the north side of that walkway, behind four palmetto trees.       Move-In Cardboard Recycling Program Collects over 9 Tons!

      During Opening Weekend as students moved into the residence hall rooms and unpacked for the upcoming year, University Housing, in cooperation with University Landscaping and Environmental Services, collected over 18,000 lbs (9 tons) of cardboard. This is the tenth year for the program, and the first where we also collected Styrofoam!       The Honors Residence will be open for all students (Honors and non-Honors) this summer.  Students will be able to choose from private or shared bedrooms and must apply for each term separately on VIP (Maymester, Summer I and Summer II).  There is a $25 deposit per term.  Below, you’ll find additional information about living on campus this summer.   If you have any further questions, please do not hesitate to call University Housing at 803-777-4283.

      Note:  You do not have to be enrolled in summer courses to be eligible for campus housing, but you must be preregistered for Fall 2010 courses.
