Is the Engineering and Computing Community for you?
The ECC provides students an intimate learning environment that will enhance the skills, knowledge, and attitudes associated with the fields of engineering or computing. Any engineering or computing student interested in taking full advantage of the educational opportunities available in college should consider applying for this community. It helps make a big place like the University of South Carolina feel a little smaller.
How To Apply?
To be considered for admission to the ECC, students must submit both a completed Housing Application and ECC Application. Space is limited. Please submit your general Housing application online at https://vip.sc.edu. By completing this application, the ECC becomes your first housing choice and supersedes other housing preferences previously indicated. It is not necessary for your roommate to be an ECC community student. Because space is limited, you may not be placed into the Community initially. If this happens, you will be put on a waiting list for a space as it becomes available. While on the waiting list, your housing assignment will be made based on preferences noted on the standard housing application/contract.
