Community Scholar Program

University Housing encourages a broad spectrum of faculty involvement with students in our residence halls. We believe faculty-student interaction is inherently valuable. Academic Departments are invited to house visiting faculty in our residence halls, as part of the Community Scholar Program. Community Scholars will be housed in one of our on-campus residences for one to four semesters, per a semester program evaluation by the Office of Resident Student Learning. Departments wanting to host a Community Scholar for less than 1 semester should contact the south area office directly.
