The Magellan Explorers Community Online Application

The Magellan Explorers Community is designed to provide a foundation and network of support for undergraduate researchers. Students will receive hands-on experience and explore their research interests. Magellan Explorers have access to academic success programs and services as well as increased interaction with faculty and campus researchers. This program is open to first and second-year students of any discipline. This community is not limited to Honors students.

Important Information I understand that if I am not placed into the Magellan Explorers, I will be put on a waiting list for a space. While on the waiting list, I understand that my housing assignment will be made based on preferences noted on the standard housing application/contract. I understand that if selected, each resident of the Magellan Explorers is expected to attend all orientations, participate in hall activities, and be active in our community. Each resident is also required to adhere to all housing regulations. I understand that my active participation in the Magellan Explorers is important to the success of the community and that a lack of participation may result in my removal from the community
