I am excited about your interest in the University of South Carolina and University Housing. Our work is focused on student development and learning to align with the mission of the institution and “Carolina Core.” The staff focus their programming efforts in three areas: academic success, awareness of self and awareness of others.
Some of our more exciting initiatives include Community Education Teams (CETs) that allow students, staff and faculty to work to create the best learning community for our students. We recognize and value the impact that living in our communities has on students, and as such, every student is a part of a learning community, whether it’s a general or associated community.
The successful candidate will have a great deal of insight and input into continuing to make these communities the very best. If you join our team, you will be working with a diverse group of people whose goal is to maintain and continually improve the quality of the students’ experience within our residence halls. Our team is not only committed to the development of students, but also each other. Being part of our team means there is always someone you can call on for assistance for your students and yourself!
Currently, we have several openings available in Residence Life. We are looking for successful candidates who will embrace diversity, be energetic, be motivated and are caring. Candidates must be dedicated to the development of students by being very student focused.
