Fines
The Alcohol Prevention Coalition estimates 1.1 million dollars is being spent by USC on costs related to alcohol each year (costs include property damage, counseling, campus safety, student conduct, housing, etc.).
Fines and fees assist with costs associated with administering, facilitating, and evaluating the educational workshops and programs, as well as the daily operations of the Office of Student Conduct. Fines may be imposed separately or in addition to any other sanction(s).
The fines and fees listed below may be assessed.

How to Pay a Student Conduct Fine
- All fines must be paid at the Patterson Hall cashier’s window (on the Garden level) or through VIP under the financial tab
- If made in person, payments can be made by exact cash or check
- A hold will be placed on the student’s account if the proof of payment is not received by the stated deadline
- Please keep the receipt provided as documentation of payment
