Consider having your students take a professor Out-to-Lunch! Designed to promote faculty and student interaction outside the classroom, the Out-to-Lunch program fits nicely into the U101 model.

Out-to-Lunch fits under the following U101 Learning Outcomes:

• II. Help Students Discover and Connect with The University of South Carolina
• a. Identify appropriate campus resources and opportunities that contribute to their educational experience, goals, and campus engagement
• b. Develop and apply skills that contribute to building positive relationships with peers, staff and faculty.

If you’d like to use Out-to-Lunch as an assignment in your U101 class, please fill out the following form.  You will receive Out-to-Lunch tickets, information forms, and instructions in Inter-Campus mail.  Please allow 1 week for delivery.  Should you need tickets sooner, please indicate in the “Notes” section and we will try to have tickets available for pick up at the ACE Administrative Office, located in Sims Hall.
