http://www.sa.sc.edu/supplementalinstruction Supplemental Instruction is a learning enhancement program that consists of a series of weekly review sessions for students enrolled in historically difficult courses (e.g. Biology 101, Chemistry 111, History 111, Math 141). Sessions are open to all students who want to improve their understanding of the course material, as well as their grades. Attendance is voluntary. SI offers students a chance to get together with classmates to compare notes, discuss important concepts, and develop strategies for studying.
