Reading Comprehension
Comprehension requires the reader to be an active constructor of meaning. Readers cannot simply perceive meaning after reading a text; instead, a reader must co-construct meaning with the text. The reader works towards comprehension through connecting his/her own experiences and knowledge to what he/she is reading.
"The more that you read, the more things you will know. The more you learn the more places you'll go." - Dr. Seuss
